About Us

Jump Back was formed in 2016. We have produced 2 full length albums, Blues in the Red and 2025's Misunderstood. Misunderstood is an album of original material. We have performed over 100 shows and been fortunate to grace the stage of the Stone Pony, House of Independents and the Strand Theater. We've played a variety of music venues, festivals and outdoor stages.
A high concentration towards concise melodic arrangement and vocal harmonies are present. The resulting sonic picture will keep you wanting more! Jump Back’s foundation is forged with Walter Doberentz on drums and Dammacco on Bass. Together, their powerful rhythms drive Jump Back through the night. Jack Piccolomini's powerful, blistering leads and guitar work combined with Wayne Kessler's artfully tasteful rhythm guitar and unsurpassed ripping harmonica leads complete the band and it's sound. The mortar that binds this band is the commonality of hard driven rock, blues & R&B influences. Their original compositions blend seamlessly with their crafted covers. Paying homage to the original artists and showing a unique perspective all their own.
Individually, each has had notable triumphs in their respective musical careers, yet together, they are a show not to be missed!
